Magic Mixies Minis Shimmerverse Series Mega Pack – 20 Mixies, 4 Hidden in Cauldrons, 5 New Powers
This set stands out for its extensive collection of 20 mini figures, making it ideal for dedicated collectors and kids who love building a magical universe. The inclusion of 4 hidden figures inside cauldrons adds an element of surprise, and the five new powers—like Starlight and Rainbow—bring variety to the magic reveals. Compared with other refill packs, this one emphasizes figure variety over effects, which might disappoint those seeking continuous mist or spell enhancements. However, the environmentally friendly packaging and special edition Rainbow Mini Mixie add extra value. The main tradeoff is its focus on miniature figures, which may not satisfy children who prefer larger toys or more interactive effects.
Pros:- Large collection of 20 mini figures for diverse play
- Features magical reveals like glow, sparkle, and color change
- Includes a special edition Rainbow Mini Mixie
- Environmentally friendly packaging
Cons:- Limited to miniature figures, less interactive than other options
- Hidden figures inside cauldrons can be challenging for younger children
- Collecting all 90 figures requires multiple sets
Best for: Collectors and children who enjoy building a diverse mini universe and imaginative storytelling.
Not ideal for: Players primarily seeking ongoing mist effects or spell expansion with their main Magic Mixies toys.
- Item Count:20
- Hidden Figures:4
- Powers:Starlight, Ice, Sun, Rainbow, Moonstone
- Includes:1 Special Edition Rainbow Mini Mixie
- Packaging:Environmentally conscious paper-based
Our verdict“This mega pack is perfect for collectors and creative kids who love building detailed magical worlds, but less suited for those seeking continuous effects or spell play.”
Magic Mixies Magical Real Misting Cauldron with Plush Toy
This set offers an engaging, interactive experience through mist, sounds, and reactions. It’s ideal for children who enjoy role-playing and creating their own magical creatures. The inclusion of a plush toy and magical ingredients makes storytelling more immersive. Unlike figure-based packs, this one focuses on the magic effect itself, which makes it appealing for kids who love sensory play. However, the need for batteries and the limitation to specific characters can be drawbacks for continuous use. Plus, to keep the magic going, you’ll need to purchase additional refills, which adds to the overall cost.
Pros:- Interactive mist, sounds, and reactions create immersive magic
- Includes plush toy and magical ingredients for storytelling
- Encourages imaginative role-playing
- Easy to use with built-in effects
Cons:- Requires additional refills for extended play
- Dependent on batteries for full functionality
- Limited to specific characters
Best for: Kids who enjoy interactive, sensory-rich magic play and role-playing stories.
Not ideal for: Those who want a large collection of figures or prefer spell-expanding refills without the need for additional toys.
- Brand:Magic Mixies
- Age Range:Youth
- Number of Packs:1
- Includes:2 Accessories, 1 Dissolvable Paper, 1 Lithium Battery
Our verdict“This cauldron set is best for children who love sensory and role-playing magic, but it may not satisfy collectors or those seeking continuous effects without additional purchases.”
Magic Mixies – Magical Mist and Spells Refill Pack for Magical Crystal Ball
This refill pack offers enough mist to create over 80 magical moments, making it a practical choice for those who want to prolong the misting effects of their Magic Mixies toys. Compatible with the Crystal Ball and Cauldron (sold separately), it’s a cost-effective way to keep the magic alive without replacing the entire toy. The main limitation is that it only provides mist and does not include figures or spell ingredients, so it’s best suited for owners already invested in the main toys who want to extend their effects. If you’re looking for a complete set or more interactive features, this might fall short.
Pros:- Provides enough mist for over 80 magical moments
- Includes 2 easy-to-use vials
- Cost-effective way to extend existing magic effects
Cons:- Requires additional purchase of the main toy or accessories
- Limited to misting effects only
Best for: Owners of the Magic Mixies Crystal Ball or Cauldron who want to extend mist effects affordably.
Not ideal for: Newcomers or those seeking figure collections or spell ingredients.
- Number of Vials:2
- Compatibility:Magic Mixies Crystal Ball and Cauldron
- Uses:Over 80 misting moments
Our verdict“Ideal for extending misting play, but not suitable as a standalone set or for those wanting a full magic experience without additional purchases.”
Magic Mixies Magical Mist Refill Pack
This refill pack is straightforward, providing enough mist to create over 80 magical moments with the Magic Genie Lamp. It’s a simple way to keep the magic flowing repeatedly, making it suitable for children who enjoy continuous effects. The main drawback is that it requires the Genie Lamp to function, so it’s limited to users who already own that toy. It’s a practical, no-frills option for extending mist effects, but it does not include figures or spell ingredients, so it’s less appealing for kids looking for variety in their magic play.
Pros:- Provides over 80 misting moments for extended play
- Includes 2 easy-to-use vials
- Simple and safe to use
Cons:- Requires the Magic Genie Lamp to use
- Limited to refill use only
Best for: Owners of the Magic Genie Lamp wanting to prolong mist-based magic effects.
Not ideal for: Those without the Genie Lamp or seeking a full spell and figure set.
- Includes:2 Vials
- Number of Mist Repeats:Over 80
Our verdict“A practical choice for ongoing mist effects if you already own the Genie Lamp, but not a standalone magic set.”
Cream Tea Magic Mixies – Magical Mist and Spells Refill Pack for Magic Cauldron
This refill provides enough mist for over 20 magical reveals in the Magic Cauldron and introduces ingredients for two new spells: Luck and Wishing. It’s aimed at prolonging and expanding the spell-reveal aspect of Magic Mixies, making it perfect for kids who love the surprise of magical reveals. The main limitation is that the refill requires the Magic Cauldron (sold separately), and it only offers mist and spell ingredients, not figures or full spell kits. It’s a good choice for those who want to extend the spell-reveal magic but not as comprehensive as figure or effect-focused refills.
Pros:- Provides enough mist for over 20 reveals
- Includes ingredients for two new spells
- Enhances the magic experience with new spell options
Cons:- Requires the Magic Cauldron (sold separately)
- Limited to spell and reveal enhancements only
Best for: Children who enjoy spell casting and magical reveals, especially with the Magic Cauldron.
Not ideal for: Buyers seeking a full set of figures or mist effects without the need for the cauldron.
- Includes:Mist Refill, Ingredients for 2 Spells
- Number of Reveals:20+
- Compatible With:Magic Cauldron
Our verdict“Excellent for expanding spell play and reveals, but not suitable as a standalone or figure-focused refill.”

We prioritized products that offer clear advantages for different play styles—whether that’s collecting figures, creating mist effects, or expanding spell options. We also examined user reviews and manufacturer details to ensure these refills are safe, easy to use, and compatible with popular Magic Mixies toys. This approach helps identify options that truly add value and fun, without unnecessary extras or limitations.
Factors to Consider When Choosing Magic Mixies Refill Pack
Choosing the right Magic Mixies refill pack depends on how your child interacts with their magic toys. Whether they love collecting figures, creating mist effects, or expanding their spell repertoire, there’s a refill designed to enhance that experience. Consider what kind of magic play your child enjoys most—are they collectors, effect lovers, or spellcasters? The following sections will help clarify these choices and guide you toward the best refill for your needs.
Collection and Mini Figures
If your child delights in building a magical universe with numerous figures, the Magic Mixies Minis Shimmerverse Mega Pack is the best option. It offers a large variety of mini figures with magical features, perfect for stacking and imaginative scenarios. However, it doesn’t include mist or spell effects, so if those are your priorities, look elsewhere.
Effect and Mist Enhancement
For ongoing magical effects, the Magic Mixies Magical Mist Refill Pack and the Refill Pack for Crystal Ball stand out. The former is ideal if you own the Genie Lamp and want simple, repeated misting. The latter offers a cost-effective way to extend mist effects for the Crystal Ball or Cauldron, but it doesn’t include figures or spells—making it more of a supplementary refill.
Spell and Reveal Expansion
The Cream Tea Magic Mixies Refill Pack is designed for children who love the surprise of magical reveals and spell-casting. It offers ingredients for new spells and mist to perform over 20 reveals, enhancing the core magic experience. Keep in mind, it requires the Magic Cauldron, which is sold separately.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are Magic Mixies refill packs compatible with all sets?
Most refill packs are designed for specific Magic Mixies toys, such as the Cauldron, Crystal Ball, or Genie Lamp. Always check the compatibility details to ensure the refill will work with your child’s existing set. For example, mist refills are generally compatible with the Crystal Ball and Cauldron, but figure packs are usually specific to mini figures or particular series.
Do I need to buy additional toys to use these refill packs?
It depends on the refill. Some, like the misting refills, require the main toy (such as the Cauldron or Genie Lamp) to be effective. Others, like figure packs, are standalone and add to collections. Always verify whether you need to purchase a compatible toy or accessory to maximize the refill’s use.
Are the refill packs safe for children?
Yes, all Magic Mixies refill packs are designed with child safety in mind. They use non-toxic, child-safe ingredients such as dissolvable papers and mist, and include age-appropriate components. However, always supervise young children during play, especially when using mist or small figures.
How many magical moments can I expect from a refill pack?
The number of magical moments varies by product. For example, the mist refills typically support over 80 misting effects, while spell-focused refills like the Cream Tea pack offer around 20 reveals. Consider how much playtime you want to extend, and choose accordingly.
Can I use multiple refill packs together?
Yes, combining different refill packs can enrich the magic experience, such as pairing figure collections with mist refills or spell ingredients. Just ensure your child’s toys are compatible with the refills you purchase to avoid any disappointment or incompatibility issues.
Conclusion
For collectors or children who love building a detailed magical universe, the Magic Mixies Minis Shimmerverse Mega Pack offers unmatched variety. If your child enjoys sensory effects and role-playing, the Magic Mixies Cauldron with Plush provides a highly immersive experience. For ongoing mist effects, the Refill Pack for Crystal Ball and Magic Genie Mist Refill are practical choices. Lastly, if spell-casting and magical reveals excite your child, the Cream Tea Refill Pack adds new spells and enhances the core experience. Your choice should align with what aspect of magic play your child values most—whether it’s collection, effects, or spell expansion.
